Our story

Hispanic Connections of Woodstock, Illinois, has been a driving force in celebrating and uplifting the local community since its founding. Since 2016, the organization has proudly organized and supported Woodstock’s Mexican Independence Day celebration, helping it grow into the vibrant, large-scale event it is today. Through their dedication, the celebration has become a meaningful tradition that not only honors Mexican heritage but also brings together people from all walks of life to share in culture, music, and community pride.

Beyond cultural celebrations, Hispanic Connections of Woodstock is deeply committed to giving back. The organization raises funds and provides numerous scholarships each year, including support for the Miss Woodstock and Little Miss Woodstock pageants. They have made generous donations to the local school district and actively participate in initiatives that contribute to the betterment of the city. As a proud partner of the City of Woodstock, they maintain a strong relationship with city leaders, working collaboratively to foster inclusivity, opportunity, and community growth.

Empowering the Hispanic community through education, culture, and opportunities that improve quality of life.

Dedicated to uplifting Woodstock’s Hispanic community by promoting arts, culture, commerce, tourism, and access to essential services.

Our success is made possible thanks to the generosity of our volunteers and sponsors.
